A good old fashioned Salsa cook-off.

This year teams will compete in 2 divisions (Traditional Salsa & Non-traditional Salsa) for the bragging rights to “Who Makes the best Salsa?”. Come vote for your favorite recipe.

The public is invited to come and sample the Salsa and vote for their favorite teams. Admission is $5.00 and includes tortilla chips and the opportunity to vote for their favorite teams. The top 3 teams in each division, based on the public vote, will mix up a final batch to be judged by the official judges to determine the winners in each division.

Entertainment will be provided by Mariachis and various dancer groups.

This year’s charity is SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes (S4EA) is a sports program serving athletes with developmental disabilities ages 5 through adult in San Diego. Over 1,400 athletes with developmental disabilities practice and compete in 24 sports held in 4 sports seasons.
